Joe Edwards is the driving force behind the revitalization of The Loop, designated "One of the 10 Great Streets in America" by the American Planning Association. Nationally renowned restaurant and music club Blueberry Hill was the first of a new era of unique owner-operated businesses in the area. His subsequent attractions include the beautiful Tivoli Movie Theatre, the non-profit St. Louis Walk of Fame, The Pageant concert nightclub, the Pin-Up Bowl, and the sensational Moonrise Hotel and Eclipse Restaurant. Joe also has renovated numerous historical buildings and encouraged one-of-a-kind specialty shops, restaurants and cultural institutions to make The Loop their home. Born in Corsica, France, Manuel brings a deep passion for wine, food, and quality of life. Constantly improving the way our staff exudes hospitality, the only thing he cares about more is a great glass of wine. With over seven years experience in the industry and a lifetime of wine knowledge learned from firsthand experience and diligent study "Manny" has shot to the top of his field and his wine list reflects that.

John Stuhlman

John brings 20 plus years of restaurant experience to Eclipse Restaurant. A St. Louis native, he started his career scrubbing pots at a "mom and pop" Italian establishment in his neighborhood. His resume is highlighted by a year spent cooking in one of New Orleans finest restaurants. He spent over 7 years in the kitchens of St. Louis' exclusive private country clubs and he was the executive chef of two successful restaurants. John is excited to bring what he has learned over the years to his new home at Eclipse Restaurant.

Claire Robberson is a proud St. Louis native and a graduate from Forest Park community college. She has had the privilege of working at Dierberg's markets, Westborough Country Club and Sarah's Cafe and Bakery. St. Louis Best Bridal Magazine featured one of the many wedding cakes she has decorated. She has a passion for detail and loves experimenting with new ingredients and is excited to create memories for her guests of Eclipse and Moonrise.

Alex Birch

Alex began his restaurant career in a small cafe in Tucson, AZ. He quickly learned about all aspects of restaurant operations and management through holding multiple roles in the cafe. When he moved to St. Louis, he transitioned to fine dining establishments. With Alex's diverse background, he understands how to manage Eclipse's upscale service with a friendly neighborhood vibe.

Katie Straubinger has been working in the restaurant industry since she was 15 years old. She has also held jobs in every possible area of the restaurant, including bartender, hostess, server, cook, and banquets. Katie is the one to go to with any reservation-related question and can take a crazy Saturday night and turn it into a smoothly ran evening. Katie is proud to call Eclipse her home and has since the opening of the restaurant.

Brian, a Missouri native, was raised around restaurant kitchens as a child. After a decade of working in St. Louis restaurants, the decision to further his culinary adventure led him to Le Cordon Bleu Las Vegas. After expanding his culinary knowledge Brian returned to St. Louis to take an opportunity with a Pan Pacific Fusion chef. Through Brian's vast experience of working under many chefs with varying styles, Brian is perfectly suited for Eclipse's eclectic style.
